Egg drop curry

Ingredients :
Egg - 4
Mustard seeds - 1 tspn
Oil - 1 tspn
Salt
Roast and grind :
Shallots - 10
Garlic - 5
Curry leaves
Jeera - 1/4 tspn
Coconut - 2 tbspn
Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
Tamarind pulp - 1 tspn

Method :
1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds
2. Add the ground paste, salt and required water and boil for few mins
3. In low flame drop the eggs one by one and close the lid and allow to boil.
 Serve with rice.

Simple potato roast

Ingredients :
Potatoes - 4
Garlic - 10 
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Sambhar powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt

Method :
1. Wash and chop potatoes in small cubes
2. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and allow to splutter 
3. Add curry leaves,  potatoes and fry for few mins
4. Add crushed garlic, salt, turmeric, chilli and sambhar powder
5. Fry for ten mins in medium flame without closing the  lid.

Arisi Paruppu Saadham

Ingredients :
Rice - 1 cup
Thoor dhal - 1/2 cup
Tomato - 2
Shallots - 15
Cinnamon - 1 ", Clove - 2,
Pepper - 1/2 tbsp , Jeera - 1/2 tbsp, Garlic -  7
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Channa dhal - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Sambhar powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Green chilli - 1
Red chilli - 1
Gingely oil
Salt

Method :
1. Soak rice and dhal in 3.5 cups of water for 5 mins
2. Crush cinnamon, clove, pepper, jeera, garlic
3. In a kadai heat oil and add mustard seeds allow to splitter then add channa dhal, red chilli, curry leaves, asafoetida, shallots, tomatoes.. cook till tomatoes are mushy
4. Add crushed powder and saute till raw smell leaves
5. Add turmeric and sambhar powder, salt, coriander leaves
4. Add this to rice n dhal.. Cook for 3 whistles or until mushy.

Tomato Spring onion Gravy

Ingredients:
Tomatoes (big) - 4
Spring onion (chopped) - 1 cup 
Onion (big) - 1
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Jeera Powder - 1/4 tbsp
Salt - As per taste
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method :
1.  Heat oil in a kadai
2.  Add chopped onions and saute       
3.  Add ginger garlic paste n saute until raw smell leaves
4.  Add chopped tomatoes, salt and cook till tomatoes are mushy
5.  Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder and cook for 2 mins..
Add water if required
6.  Add finely chopped spring onions..
Cover the kadai with the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
 Serve hot with rotis.

Fruits n Nuts Salad

Ingredients:
Apple - 1
Orange - 1
Pomegranate - 1
Banana - 1
Cashew nuts - 5
Dates - 5
Raisins - 5
Honey - 1 tbsp

Method:
Chop fruits and nuts to small pieces.
Mix with honey.
Serve chilled.





Ragi Malt Powder

Ingredients:
Almonds - 20
Cashew nuts - 10
pistachios - 10
Ragi flour - 1.5 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom - 5

Method:
Chop roughly and dry roast almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios until crispy.
Allow to cool and grind to powder with sugar and cardamom.
(do not run d mixie continuous.. it vl make the powder wet)
Dry roast ragi flour until aroma comes.
Allow to cool completely.
Mix the nuts powder and ragi flour.
Store in air tight container.
